In Western Australia we deliver Civil Construction Qualifications through a structured workplace traineeship program. To undertake a civil construction traineeship, you must be employed within the industry, undertaking tasks within the chosen qualification.
The Construction Training Fund provides grants of up to $16k to employers who register a new or existing Apprentice or Trainee under a Training Contract within Western Australia.

Federal Government Incentives may be available to employers who register new workers (employed less than 3 months full time or 12 months part time) of up to $4000 upon successful completion of a Certificate III or Certificate IV Traineeship. Eligibility for this incentive is assessed by an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider and is determined at the time the trainee is registered.
There are three AASN providers in Western Australia who provide a free service to sign and register your trainees with the Apprenticeship Office.
The Jobs and skills WA Employer Incentive is available to employers of new entrant trainees registered after July 2019. Incentives of up to $4,250 are available to eligible employers.
