The TMI skill set provides the skills and knowledge required for those responsible for traffic management implementation on Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 environments (Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads) as described in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
Geared towards individuals seeking approval through South Australia’s Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), these skill sets are designed for those responsible for the effective implementation of traffic management plans in Category 1 environments, aligning with the guidelines provided in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
The TMI1 skill set consists of 4 units of competency:
Successful participants will receive a Statement of Attainment, confirming their accreditation with a TMI1 TTM Card, issued by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) South Australia.
Please note, those completing TMI1 can not control traffic using the applicable signs and devices. Further training is required. Further information please contact Civil Train here.
This course is three (3) days face-to-face:
Please note: Assessment must be conducted within 6 months of training date in accordance with the Austroads Temporary Traffic Management Training Framework.
