As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), CCF’s quality training and resources are regularly audited by government to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
Constant revision of the CCF Training Program ensures that industry needs are represented. CCF has a consultative committee which represents contractors’ interests by monitoring the relevance of the training program.
CivilTrain trainers and assessors all have significant civil construction industry experience and must meet strict guidelines as set out by the CCF.
A comprehensive database and carding system has been developed by the CCF and records all training and assessment conducted. This is of direct benefit to contractors who require evidence of skills and training as part of the tendering process.
To assist with meeting statutory obligations a number of courses have been included in the program to directly assist contractors to meet the requirements of Statutory and Road Authorities ie WorkSafe, VicRoads, Energy Safe Victoria (ESV). These course include Construction OH&S Induction, Safety Representatives, Traffic Management and Spotters training.
The Contractor Management System (CMS) program (established by the CCF) requires proof of training as part of the audit process. The CCF training program directly assists contractors to satisfy this requirement.
Flexibility in the delivery of training ensures coverage for all contractors both in metropolitan and regional Victoria. Training can be conducted at CCF’s fully equipped, dedicated training venue or at the contractors workplace or chosen venue. The CCF Training Room can be hired by CCF members and non members.
